Gnocchi
The potato gnocchi originates from northern Italy, where the cooler climates are better suited for growing potatoes rather than grain. The most common way to prepare gnocchi is to combine potatoes with flour and eggs forming balls of dough (herbs and vegetables can also be added).

Risotto
Risotto is a northern Italian rice dish cooked in broth until it becomes a creamy. Many types of risotto contain veggies, meat or fish. According to Italian legend, a glassblower’s young apprentice of the “Fabbrica del Duomo di Milano” from Flanders who used to use saffron as a pigment for his glass, added it to a rice dish at a wedding feast. The first identifiable risotto dish dates from 1809. For our risotto we use the best Arborio rice imported from Italy and cook it to order, from scratch, this does mean our risotto takes at least 20 minutes to be ready from when you order it, but we promise it will be worth the wait!

All our secondi dishes are cooked from scratch, this means it takes 20 minutes from when your order reaches the kitchen to be cooked. We suggest sharing one of our antipasti or pasta in the meantime.
They are all prepared with the best and freshest ingredients we can find on the market. The secondi, as per Italian tradition, comes with mixed, roasted vegetables.
